Mapping Measurement. Acrylic on canvas. 36" x 48". 2024.
It all takes time. The marks, the moments-the joy, the bliss, the heartache-they don't arrive all at once. They carve themselves slowly into the surface of living, one after another, until the body
becomes a map of what it has endured and what it has loved. Each mark, each line, bears the weight of the next.
Sometimes that weight feels impossible, a history pressing forward. And yet, with every step, something is released-a layer lifted, a burden quietly undone. Growth doesn't rush.
Transformation whispers through repetition, through every mark that learns to carry less.
In time, the lines no longer wound; they become the story itself-each one a trace of where we’ve been, and what we have become.
